It was just over 3 years ago when a handful of passionate Head and Neck Radiologists in India were brought together by our visionary leaders to create the Indian Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ISHNR). The objective was to establish a subspeciality forum for Head and Neck Radiology to promote academics, networking and foster collaborations.

I am now delighted to take on the mantle as the President of ISHNR for the next 2 years. My team and I hope to consolidate on the foundation work done in the previous years and build upon this to take the forum forward.

Our focus will be on the following areas

Visibility – Improving the visibility of ISHNR and expanding its outreach

Engagement – Bringing together the physicians, surgeons and radiologists in this field to improve patient care and outcomes through collaborative care

Partnerships – Fostering partnerships with the best individuals and societies across the globe to enhance peer learning and networking

Creating impact – Advocacy for the role of Head and Neck Radiology particularly in the field of Head and Neck Cancers
