Served as President of ISHNR (2024-2026). First and foremost, I thank you for placing your trust in me to serve as President of ISHNR for 2024-26.

Indian Society of Head and Neck Radiology was started in 2019 by a small group of radiologists interested in this field and was guided by the head neck stalwart of Indian origin at Hong Kong, Prof Dr T. Anil Ahuja, who has mentored many of us in this field. I was privileged to serve during my five years in the executive committee of our society under Past Presidents Dr C Amarnath, Dr A Anbarasu, and Dr Varsha Joshi.

During my tenure, my vision was to increase membership strength by inducting new eligible, academically active Head & Neck Radiologists from across India; to promote young members through webinars, case discussions and MDTs; to conduct Midterm CMEs and outreach programmes in other cities; to formulate and update guidelines and structured reporting in head & neck imaging; to strengthen our relationship with international Head & Neck societies; and to build a travel fellowship programme for young radiologists.
